	Join us for some old-fashioned fun on June 4, 2011. From 10 AM-2 PM, there will be a "back yard funfest" to benefit Koinonia, the community mission which is located on the grounds of Franconia UMC. Literally, we'll be in Koinonia's back yard to raise funds, collect non-perishable food items for its pantry, and raise awareness of the existence of this community treasure.
SAMPLE VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES Pre-Event: * Shopping * Publicity * Event set up (8 AM on 6/4) Day of: * Run a game or activity (shifts available) * Oversee a craft, cake walk or giant bubbles * Moonbounce monitor * Concession help (includes popcorn and cotton candy) * Nail, face-painting, temporary tattooes * Clowning - balloon animals and crowd interaction * Display crafts for sale (see vendor application info) * Provide live music * Your own ideas are welcome!
