Please feel free to visit any or all of these circles:

The Bucky Circle - 3rd Saturdays @ 9:30 AM in the Small Kitchen

This group is for those who prefer a Saturday morning meeting time. They meet on the 3rd Saturday of each month from 9:30-11:30 AM in the small kitchen. They can usually be found working on their Christmas stocking project, a project that started out as a small one-time effort and has grown into a year round project which culminates with the distribution of over 500 hand-made Christmas stockings to the area's needy individuals. Their leader is Barbara Lawrence.

The Julia Pullen Circle - 4th Thursdays at 6 PM, International House of Pancakes (IHOP) Restaurant, Manchester Lakes

This circle is always looking for ways to help those less fortunate, whether it be locally or globally. Members of this circle find the evening meeting fits in better with their busy schedules. Their leader is Dorothy Cross. The circle members support the following missions:

  • The Hear Now Program - this circle has supported this mission for a number of years by collecting and sending used hearing aids to be recycled, remade and given to people who cannot afford to buy them.
  • Kairos prisoner correspondence: circle members will write notes and cards to women who are incarcerated. The women will have completed the KAIROS week-end program and will be part of the Christian community living within prison walls.

The Manchester Lakes Circle - 2nd Thursdays at 10:30 AM at the Manchester Lakes Senior Apartments.

One of the few circles organized in a senior apartment complex, Manchester Lakes is growing by leaps and bounds. They meet once a month to work on community service projects or just discuss life after retirement. Their meetings take place at the Manchester Lakes Apartment Complex, Interparcel Road. Their leaders are Jeanne Bennett and Norma Donaldson.

The Susanna Wesley Circle - 2nd Tuesdays at 10 AM in the Small Kitchen.

This group supports one another as they navigate their retirement years. Members enjoy working on creative projects, occasional book studies and just getting together for friendship and fun. Contact Scottie Filipek.
