On June 5th, The Span of Ages Adult Sunday School Class will start a 9-week study on Bearing Witness in the Kin-dom: Living into the Church’s Moral Witness Through Radical Discipleship, by Darryl W. Stephens.
“In Jesus’ own words, he came to bring good news to the poor, release the captives, restore sight to the blind, and to let the oppressed go free. What is the responsibility of the church to follow Christ’s example in word and deed? Moreover, what is our responsibility, as growing Christians? The purpose of this study is to help the church and its members discern our call and bear witness to the will of God for a more just world.”
The Span of Ages Sunday School class is a hybrid live/Zoom class hosted in the Small Kitchen of the church that meets from 8:45-9:45 AM every Sunday. The books for the Study are currently in the small kitchen, available for pick-up. Please contact gro.cmuainocnarf@eciffohcruhc if you need church access.
We will discuss our expectations, goals and approach to the study on June 5th, and start the ‘meat’ of the study on June 12th. Please contact Bruce Bartolain at moc.oohay@nialotrabb, or by cell phone at 703-577-3137, for more information.
