Coffee and Conversation is a group that meets Sunday mornings from 10:15 a.m. – 10:45 a.m. in Cokesbury Hall. We watch a short film narrated by Rob Bell, former pastor of Mars Hill Church in Michigan and author of Love Wins. Each video is less than 14 minutes and blends everyday events with discussion about God.
This week (November 6, 2022) we will watch Sunday. In this video, Rob Bell contrasts religious traditions with true religion. Do we honestly think that standing, sitting and singing in church for an hour a week makes God happy? God hates it when we call ourselves Christians but ignore all the things he really cares about.
