International Women’s Day is March 8, 2023. Women’s day started as a national day in the U.S. in 1909 and was marked as an international day at an international women’s conference in 1911. The United Nations first recognized it in 1975. Today, International Women’s Day is a day to honor women and is celebrated in many countries.
In celebration of the day, the NOW Committee will be handing out flowers at the Otterbein Concert Choir on March 8 at 7:00 p.m. in the sanctuary. Support the women in your life for “She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come.” Proverbs 31:25 (NIV)
