Phoenix Rising Food Donations
Franconia UMC packs and delivers about 170 bagged meals the 4th Friday of the month to help those with food insecurity have a source of sustenance over the weekend. Since we pack two meals’ worth of food items per person, we need a lot of food to make this ministry happen. If you would like to support with donations, please sign up here. Seeking Leaders for Leading the Church in 2024
Fellow congregants, At our Church Conference this past June, we approved changing our leadership structure in 2024 to that of a Simplified Accountable Structure, or SAS structure for short. This SAS structure will be built around a volunteer Leadership Board and a series of Mission and Management Teams, all of whom will work in coordination with the Pastor and church staff. Thank you for a Stellar Week of VBS!
Thank you to all the volunteers who helped during this week of VBS with the set-up, running VBS, the ice cream social and the break-down after. It was a wonderful week. We had 45 children participate from 30 families. On Sunday, we were excited to have 22 of the children come back with their families to share with us in worship. It took everyone helping and praying for us to make this week so successful. Thank You!
