Ms. Karen started working as the music teacher at AGC in the Fall of 2002 when her son David started in the Lamb’s class. Her older daughter Rachel attended AGC from 2000 to 2002. Karen’s background includes some piano, some dance, and lots of singing lessons. She sings in a couple of choirs and used to perform in school and community theater. She also has a B.A. in English literature and worked in the publishing business for 10 years. Originally from Pennsylvania, she moved to Virginia with her husband Mark in 1992.

I am originally from Ohio and have been part of AGC since 2001. Before that my son was a student here. I enjoy gardening, rughooking and playing saxophone in a community band.
