Welcome to the Music Ministry!
Here at Franconia United Methodist Church, we believe that all God’s people are just right for music. You don’t have to be a perfect musician; all you need is a love for God and willingness to make music. We have musical offerings for people of all ages and abilities.
Being a part of a worship ensemble is one of the best ways to become a part of a church family. You will meet many like-minded people who are welcoming and share your passion for Christ and music. Below, you will find our many ensembles for all musical tastes and comforts.
Chancel Choir
- Open to all adults. Jr. and Sr. High School singers are welcome with approval.
- Meets in the Sanctuary, Wednesdays, 7:00-8:30 p.m.

Contemporary Praise and Worship Team
- Meets in the Sanctuary, Thursdays, 6:00-7:00 p.m.

Bells of Praise Handbell Choir
- Open to all adults; no experience necessary.
- Meets in the Sanctuary, Tuesdays, 7:00-8:00 p.m.

Grace Notes Handbell Choir
- Open to youth 6th grade and above and adults; no experience necessary.

Children’s Music
Jesus said, “Let the Children come unto me.” Franconia UMC, believes children are a vital part of the church. Our children’s music program has opportunities for children to connect through choir, hand chimes and our music is a wonderful gift children can take with them for the rest of their lives.
Children’s Chimes
- Open to all children 2nd through 5th Grade.
- Meets in the Stage Room, Sundays 10:15-10:45 a.m.
Children’s Music – Franconia Players Musical
- Open to all children 2nd through 12th Grade.
- Meets Wednesdays at 6:00-7:00 p.m. in the Stage Room.
