Registration for Franconia UMC kids has begun for our Rocky Railway VBS. This exciting, train-themed VBS will combine virtual and in-person events.
It will include an in-person Meet and Greet event on Saturday, June 19 to pick up supplies.
The Daily VBS activities will be done virtually using Zoom on June 21 – 25 from 9:30 a.m. to noon. We will close our VBS with an outside recording event, Saturday, June 26, in which each crew will record their song they learned that week.
These recordings will be combined for our final show and will be made available to families on our private FUMC VBS Facebook page. The in-person events will be both masked and socially-distanced.
This faith-filled adventure will be mountains of fun as we learn how trusting in Jesus will pull us through life’s ups and downs. Each day a different Bible story, Bible verse and Bible point will guide us to the weekly conclusion that
Jesus’ power will pull us through anything. The craft, KidVid video and Imagination Station activities will reinforce each daily story and Bible point.
To keep the crews at manageable sizes for the breakout rooms and the closing recording session, we are limiting our VBS this year to 60 children.
