Franconia UMC is raising money to help prepare 20,000 meals for Rise Against Hunger in October 2021. We are about half-way to meeting our $7,000 goal. How can you help?

Join the Franconia UMC June Walk-a-thon to raise money for our Rise Against Hunger event in October 2021. All ages are welcome to participate.
There’s a registration fee of $20 for each participant, which covers the cost of a t-shirt. Order a t-shirt here (https://www.customink.com/
We will have two teams of walkers competing in our walk-a-thon, who will have the month of June to walk, jog, or run as much (or as little) as they want. Team captains will track the total miles traveled and the team with the most distance traveled at the end of the month gets bragging rights.
Participants will be assigned a team. Our teams are “Godspeed” (Team Captain Susan Hudson) and “The Jesus Walkers”, better known as the J-Walkers (Team Captain Suzanne Ackley). Members of the same household may be placed on opposing teams, just to keep things interesting. Walk-a-thon participants will get a button with their team name in addition to a t-shirt.
Purchase a t-shirt and help us meet our fundraising goal. You can choose to have the t-shirt shipped to the church for pickup or delivered to you for an additional fee.
