Graduation Sunday is coming!
We are so excited to honor our graduates for this spring and summer. If you know of a graduate from high school, college, graduate school, and beyond, please let us know! Rise Against Hunger Fundraiser & Walk-a-thon
We are raising money to help prepare 20,000 meals for Rise Against Hunger on October 2, 2022 (save the date!). But we still have a long way to go to reach our $7,000 goal. Happenings with the Children’s Ministry
There has been a great deal happening with our Children’s Ministry here at Franconia UMC. Our children’s chimes choir is now at full capacity and I am looking to borrow the third octave of chimes from another church in order to have room for growth. We hope the children will be ready to participate in worship on May 22. We had a very successful Easter Celebration with 54 participants (children and parents) and 16 volunteers. VBS Prep and Decorating Help Needed
This year we will have the southwest as part of our theme for our Monumental VBS by Group publishing. We need help making cactus out of paper plates, cutting out our daily characters and creating a massive mountain for our sanctuary. Youth Event This Saturday!
All youth in 6th-12th grade are invited to another incredibly fun afternoon at “Brunch of Games” (pun intended). What is Brunch of Games, you ask? It is an afternoon of food, movies, and Games!
