Suicide Prevention Month: Be The One To…

#BeThe1To From the United Methodist Book of Discipline (2016): A Christian perspective on suicide begins with an affirmation of faith that nothing, including suicide, separates us from the love of God. (Romans 8:38-39) Therefore, we deplore the condemnation of people who die by suicide, and we consider unjust the stigma that so often falls on surviving family and friends. We encourage pastors and faith communities to address this issue through preaching and teaching.

06/20: Youth Group to Meet This Sunday!

This Sunday, June 27 at 1 p.m., we will have a face-to-face meeting for all students in 6th-12th grade. This will be a time to get together, learn about each other, and, most excitedly, plan for the future! We will meet outside for around an hour. 06/01: Indoor, In-Person Worship Returns to Franconia UMC!

Due to the improved Covid-19 outlook and updated requirements from the Virginia Conference of the United Methodist Church, the Healthy Church Team has made the decision to move our in-person worship service to the Sanctuary.  Those plans have now been approved by the District Superintendent.  Beginning June 13th at 10 AM, we invite you to come and praise God as we gather in our sanctuary together for the first time in fifteen months.
