Walking to Fight Hunger

Franconia UMC’s annual walk-a-thon kick-off was a huge success!  Participants walked two miles then had fellowship outside with healthy snacks.  It’s not too late to sign up!  If you would like to participate, please sign up here. Anyone can walk, keep track of one’s own progress, get sponsors (or not) and at the end of August donate to Rise Against Hunger.  Pledges can be paid by using Franconia UMC’s online donation link and choosing “Rise Against Hunger” from the drop down menu.

T-shirt orders due Thursday, August 10

Help fight global hunger by purchasing a t-shirt that has FUMC’s logo on the front and mission on the back. All proceeds go to our Rise Against Hunger meal packaging event held on World Communion Sunday–October 1, 2023. The shirt would be perfect to wear at the event and at other activities. We need to sell at least 18 in order to print and the sale ends Thursday, August 10. Click here to order a shirt.  Please email Suzanne Ackley ten.xoc@eusyelkcaX ta for any questions.

Community Garden Update!

On Sunday, our Kingdom Kids helped harvest the potatoes from the Community Garden. Thanks to Linda and all the kids and their families for making this a wonderful moment! All produce will go to Koinonia.
