Father’s Day Brunch – Rise Against Hunger Fundraiser

Honor the dads in all of our lives and provide a love donation for Raise Against Hunger on June 18 with pancakes, eggs, and sausage immediately after the 9:00 a.m. service. The NOW Committee will be cooking and serving.  If you would like to donate your time or food, please sign up here.  Please contact Kate Aikman moc.liamg@etaknamkia ta for any questions.

Called Church Conference June 11 at 12:15 p.m.

This Called Church Conference will be for the purpose of approving a resolution to move our church to a modified leadership organizational structure.  This new leadership structure will combine the Church Council, the SPPRC, the Board of Trustees and the Finance Committee into one leadership board.  The resolution before us may be found here.  In a Church Conference, all members of the church are eligible to vote.

Graduation Sunday

We are so excited to honor our recent graduates at our 9:00 and 11:00 a.m. services this Sunday, June 4. Graduates will be invited to the front of the sanctuary where they will be honored and receive a gift.   There will be notecards in the narthex to write a note of congratulations, best wishes, and/or prayers for each of our graduates for those who wish to do so. Community Garden’s First Harvest

If you have not seen FUMC’s community garden, it is outside the kitchen in between Koinonia and the church. The radishes are growing the most robust so far. We gave the first harvest to Koinonia on Saturday.  

Buy a t-shirt and help end hunger

This year’s Franconia UMC t-shirt is now on sale through June 11! The shirts are red for Rise Against Hunger and feature Franconia UMC’s mission statement on the back. The shirts will be ready by the end of June. Franconia UMC is raising money to help prepare 15,000 meals for Rise Against Hunger on October 1, 2023. We still have a long way to go to reach our $6,000 goal. Purchase a t-shirt and help us meet our fundraising goal.…

Staff Appreciation Day is May 21

Save the date for our Staff Appreciation Day, which takes place Sunday, May 21.  We look forward to lifting up our wonderful staff during our combined service at 10:00 a.m.  Immediately following the service, we will have a fellowship celebration. Youth Planning Meeting
