Help Feed Our Children Over the Summer
FUMC, in partnership with Olivet Episcopal, will help children who attend Franconia ES and their families by providing them food each
week. These are children who would normally get free breakfasts/ lunches and weekend food packs during the school year, but nothing over the summer and their families need help to make ends meet.
We need donations of food which may be left in the Mission bins in Cokesbury Hall. Items needed are:
- Canned fruit, soup, vegetables
- Rice, dried beans, Mac and Cheese
- Pasta and Pasta Sauce
- Peanut Butter and Jelly
- Tuna and canned chicken
- Cheerios and oatmeal
- Granola bars
If you would like to volunteer to pack food boxes, we will be meeting in the parlor on Saturday mornings at 9:30 starting June 16 and June 23 and again on July 7 and July 14.
