Sarah Chambers joined as our Director of Youth and Young Adults in May 2021. She oversees all activities related to the youth and coordinates outreach to our young adults especially those in college and other post-secondary pursuits. Sarah is also pursuing additional educational opportunities at the Wesley Theological Seminary.A Kentucky native and UMC pastor’s kid, Sarah has additional experience as a contemporary music leader both in Kentucky and in Yorkana, Pennsylvania. She loves to play guitar and attributes her budding love for music to her grandmother. Sarah says having had previous experience in a puppet and clown ministry, numerous mission trips and VBS are proving to be wonderful preparations for her current ministry.
Sarah graduated from Morehead State University with a Bachelor in Social Work, and has professional experience in that field as well, having worked at L’Arche in Washington DC and the Community Services Group in Montville, Pennsylvania.
