Join UMCOR In Support of Hawaii An UMCOR grant is providing food, water, hygiene items and tools to help survivors recover belongings.  As first responders continue to provide initial aid, please join us in prayer and support for the people of Maui in the aftermath of wildfires. Ladies High Tea

Ladies High Tea  Ladies, you are cordially invited to High Tea, on Sunday, September 10, from 3 – 4:30 p.m. in Cokesbury Hall. This Par-Tea will be an amazing opportunity to pull out your hats, gloves, and favorite dresses. Tea will be served, and finger sandwiches will be offered. Grab a steaming copy of coffee and a snack between services and join us for  Coffee and Conversation in the Small Kitchen (lower level of the church in the Admin wing) from 10:15am-10:45am. Last week we started part I of Exodus, when Moses confronted Pharaoh to free the Israelites, God sent plagues, and Moses finally led the Israelites out of Egypt. Phoenix Rising Food Donations

Phoenix Rising Food Donations  Franconia UMC packs and delivers about 170 bagged meals the 4th Friday of the month to help those with food insecurity have a source of sustenance over the weekend.  Since we pack two meals’ worth of food items per person, we need a lot of food to make this ministry happen.  If you would like to support with donations, please sign up here. You may deliver items to Cokesbury Hall under the long table nearest the kitchen.  If you would…

Youth Lock In

The youth will be having a lock-in here at the church on Friday, August 18th! What’s a lock-in, some of you may be asking? It’s an overnight event at the church- we are “locked in” for the night; we play games, watch movies, play more games, eat LOTS of junk food/sugary deliciousness… ALL NIGHT LONG. The next Conversations on Race and Faith will be August 13, 2023 at 1:00PM on Zoom.  This month we will look at an outsider’s view of race and faith in America.
